  • H₂O₂ and NaCl Reaction: Understanding the Products & Absence of Byproducts
There is no significant reaction between hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) and sodium chloride (NaCl). Therefore, there is no byproduct mixture.

    Here's why:

    * H₂O₂ is a weak oxidizer: It can oxidize some substances, but not NaCl.

    * NaCl is a stable salt: It does not readily react with H₂O₂.

In a simple mixture, you would just have a solution containing H₂O₂, NaCl, and water (H₂O) if the NaCl dissolves.
