    Helium (He) is a noble gas, and noble gases are known for their stability and inertness. They have a full outer shell of electrons, making them very reluctant to gain or lose electrons.

    Therefore, helium does not form a cation.

    Cations are positively charged ions formed when an atom loses electrons. Since helium doesn't readily lose electrons, it does not form a cation.
