  • Bismuth: Metal or Metalloid? Properties & Characteristics
    Bismuth is a metalloid.

While it shares some properties with metals, like its shiny appearance and good electrical conductivity, it also exhibits some non-metallic characteristics like being brittle and having a relatively low melting point. This makes it fall into the category of metalloids, which are elements that have properties of both metals and nonmetals.
