  • Synthetic Elements: What Are They and How Are They Created?
The non-natural elements of the periodic table are called synthetic elements.

    Here's why:

    * Natural elements are found in nature, formed through natural processes like stellar nucleosynthesis.

    * Synthetic elements are created artificially in laboratories through nuclear reactions.

So, any element with an atomic number higher than 92 (uranium) is considered synthetic.
