  • Gas Volume and Moles: Understanding Avogadro's Law
The volume of a gas doubles when the number of moles is doubled, assuming all other factors remain constant.

This is directly related to Avogadro's Law, which states:

    * At constant temperature and pressure, the volume of an ideal gas is directly proportional to the amount of gas (number of moles).

In simpler terms, if you have twice as many gas molecules, they will take up twice the space.
