    You're close! You can't determine the exact pH of a solution just by looking at pH paper. Here's why:

    * Limited accuracy: pH paper offers a rough estimate of acidity/alkalinity. It's not a precise tool like a pH meter.

    Here's what you can do with pH paper:

    1. Determine if a solution is acidic, neutral, or basic: The color of the paper will indicate whether the solution is acidic (red/orange), neutral (green), or basic (blue/purple).

    2. Get an approximate pH range: You can compare the color of the paper to a color chart provided with the paper to get a general pH range.

    To get a more precise pH measurement, use a pH meter.
