  • Saturated Solution: Definition, Explanation & Examples
    A saturated solution is like a glass of water that can't hold any more sugar. It's a solution where the solvent (like water) has dissolved as much solute (like sugar) as it possibly can at a specific temperature.

    Think of it this way: the solvent has "reached its limit" of dissolving stuff. If you add more solute, it won't dissolve and will just sit at the bottom!
