Dew is water vapor that condenses on objects at the surface of the Earth, usually in the form of small droplets. It occurs when the temperature of the object drops below the dew point, which is the temperature at which the air can no longer hold all of the water vapor it contains. Dew is most common in the early morning, when the air is cool and the ground is warm.
