  • Refrigerant Condensation: How It Works & Why It's Important
Condenser: In the condenser, the high-pressure hot refrigerant vapor flows through a set of tubes. The condenser is usually located outside the building and is actively cooled by air. As the refrigerant vapor flows through the condenser, it transfers its heat to the surrounding air, causing it to condense and turn into a high-pressure liquid. This process is aided by the fan of the condenser unit, which helps to dissipate heat.
