  • Electrical Conductivity: What Materials Conduct Electricity?
Materials that allow electricity to flow through them are called conductors. Conductors are materials that have loosely bound electrons that can easily move around the material when a voltage is applied. This allows electricity to flow through the material.

Examples of conductors include metals such as copper, aluminium, and gold, as well as some solutions such as salt water and electrolytes.
