  • Refrigerant in the Condenser: Understanding Superheated Vapor
The state of refrigerant entering the condenser is superheated vapor. After leaving the evaporator, the refrigerant passes through a compressor where the vapor pressure is increased. As a result, its temperature also increases. Therefore, the refrigerant entering the condenser is a high-pressure, high-temperature superheated vapor.
