    - Lactic acid fermentation: It is an anaerobic process that does not require oxygen. It occurs when oxygen is limited or absent in an environment.

    - Aerobic equation: Aerobic respiration requires oxygen to break down glucose efficiently and produce energy.

    3. Products Formed:

    - Lactic acid fermentation: The main product of lactic acid fermentation is lactic acid. It is produced by the enzyme lactate dehydrogenase converting pyruvate (an intermediate product of glucose breakdown) into lactic acid.

    - Aerobic equation: The products of aerobic respiration are carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O), and energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP).

    4. Efficiency of Energy Production:
