  • Homogeneous Mixtures: Definition, Examples & Properties
An example of a homogeneous mix is saltwater. When salt is dissolved in water, it forms a uniform mixture where the salt particles are evenly distributed throughout the water. The composition of the mixture is the same throughout, making it a homogeneous mix. Other examples of homogeneous mixes include solutions like sugar dissolved in water, alloys like brass (a mixture of copper and zinc), and mixtures of gases like air.
