  • Lime Water: Homogeneous or Heterogeneous? | Chemistry Explained
Lime water is a heterogeneous mixture.

A heterogeneous mixture is a mixture in which the components are not evenly distributed throughout the mixture. This means that different parts of the mixture will have different compositions. Lime water is a heterogeneous mixture because the lime (calcium hydroxide) is not evenly distributed throughout the water. Some parts of the water will have more lime than others.
