Centrifugation: In this method, the mixture is placed in a centrifuge and spun at high speed. This causes the undissolved solid to settle at the bottom of the tube while the water remains suspended at the top. The solid can then be separated by carefully pouring off the water.
Decantation: This method is similar to centrifugation, but it does not require the use of a centrifuge. Instead, the mixture is allowed to stand until the undissolved solid settles at the bottom. The water can then be carefully poured off, leaving the solid behind.
Evaporation: This method involves heating the mixture until the water evaporates. The undissolved solid will be left behind as a residue.
