  • Why "Chemical-Free" Cosmetics Are a Myth: Understanding Cosmetic Ingredients
The claim that a cosmetic powder is chemical-free is impossible because all matter is made up of chemicals, including cosmetic powders. Chemicals are simply substances that have a definite composition and properties. Cosmetic powders are typically composed of a variety of chemicals such as talc, mica, pigments, and fragrances. While some cosmetic powders may be marketed as "natural," this does not mean that they are chemical-free. Natural products simply contain ingredients that are derived from plants, animals, or minerals, rather than synthetic materials. However, these natural ingredients are still chemicals.

Therefore, it is impossible for a cosmetic powder to be truly chemical-free.
