  • Physical vs. Chemical Properties: Which are Easier to Identify?
Chemical properties are easier to recognise.

Chemical properties of a substance can be recognised by observing how the substance reacts with other substances. For example, if a substance reacts with oxygen to form a new substance, then it has a chemical property of being oxidizable.

On the other hand, physical properties of a substance can be recognised by observing the substance itself. For example, if a substance is hard and brittle, then it has a physical property of being hard and brittle.
