  • Understanding pH 5: Acidity and Its Common Sources
The pH value of a substance indicates its level of acidity or basicity on a scale from 0 to 14. A pH value of 7 is considered neutral, values below 7 indicate acidity, and values above 7 indicate basicity.

A pH value of 5 found in a substance would indicate that the substance is acidic. The lower the pH value, the stronger the acidity. A pH value of 5 is considered moderately acidic. Some common examples of substances that may have a pH value around 5 include:

    - Black coffee

    - Orange juice

    - Lemon juice

    - Vinegar

    - Beer

    - Wine
