  • Thermometric Titration: Principles, Applications, and Endpoint Detection
In thermometric titrations the temperature change accompanying a chemical reaction (typically neutralization) is used to monitor the progress of a reaction. Here, heat released or absorbed in a reaction is measured accurately and used to determine reaction stoichiometry and equilibrium constants. Unlike traditional titrations, where a gradual colour transformation assists in determining the endpoint, this technique solely relies on temperature alterations to mark endpoint(s).
