Organic stains are generally colored. They are caused by plants products such as coffee, grape juice, blood and cosmetics, as well as protein or fat containing food such as meat, egg, milk, butter and cheese. Organic stains are removed by cleaning with warm soapy water, unless they are set by heat, in which case solvent cleaning is necessary.
