  • Concrete Composition: Homogeneous or Heterogeneous?
    Concrete is a heterogeneous mixture.

A heterogeneous mixture is a mixture in which the components are not evenly distributed throughout the mixture. In the case of concrete, the components are cement, sand, gravel, and water. The cement, sand, and gravel are solid particles, while the water is a liquid. The solid particles are not evenly distributed throughout the concrete, so the concrete is a heterogeneous mixture.
