  • Antimatter: The Universe's Most Powerful Substance Explained
The most powerful substance in the world is thought to be antimatter. Antimatter is a type of matter that is made up of particles that have the opposite charge of normal matter. For example, an electron is a negatively charged particle, while an anti-electron (or positron) is a positively charged particle.

When matter and antimatter come into contact, they annihilate each other, releasing a tremendous amount of energy. This energy is equivalent to the mass of the matter and antimatter multiplied by the speed of light squared. For example, if one gram of matter and one gram of antimatter were to annihilate each other, they would release enough energy to power the entire world for a year.

Because of its destructive potential, antimatter is extremely difficult to create and store. However, scientists are working on ways to harness the power of antimatter for peaceful purposes, such as generating electricity and propelling spacecraft.
