    In cold water:

    In boiling water:

    * Higher solubility: The solubility of salt in boiling water is higher than in cold water, meaning that more salt can dissolve in a given amount of boiling water.

    * Lower density: Boiling water is less dense than cold water, so the salt crystals are more evenly distributed throughout the water and dissolve more quickly.

    In general, the higher the temperature of the water, the faster the dissolution rate and the higher the solubility of salt.
