  • Fluorine: Properties, Uses & Hazards of the Most Reactive Halogen
    Fluorine

Fluorine is the most reactive and corrosive of all the halogens. It is a pale yellow gas that reacts with almost all other elements, often violently. Fluorine is used in a variety of applications, including the production of uranium hexafluoride for nuclear fuel, the manufacture of semiconductors, and the etching of glass.
