  • Distilling Salt Water: A Simple Guide to Collecting Fresh Water
To trap condensed water from salt water, you will need the following materials:

    - A large pot

    - A smaller pot

    - A spoon

    - A stovetop

    Instructions:

    1. Fill the large pot with salt water.

    2. Place the smaller pot inside the larger pot, making sure that the bottom of the smaller pot does not touch the bottom of the larger pot.

    3. Bring the water in the larger pot to a boil.

    4. As the water boils, steam will rise and condense on the bottom of the smaller pot.

    5. Use the spoon to collect the condensed water from the bottom of the smaller pot.

    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have collected the desired amount of condensed water.

    Tips:

    - To speed up the process, you can use a fan to blow air over the top of the smaller pot.

    - You can also use a colander or a cheesecloth to strain the condensed water before collecting it.

    - If you want to collect more condensed water, you can use a larger pot and/or a smaller pot.

    Note:

The condensed water from salt water will still contain trace amounts of salt, so it is not recommended for drinking. However, it can be used for other purposes, such as watering plants or cleaning.
