  • Vapor Pressure: Understanding Chemical & Solution Explosion Hazards
The vapor pressure of a chemical is considered a solution hazard. In a solution, when the vapor pressure increases there is a higher concentration of molecules present in the headspace. This means there is a higher proportion of molecules that can escape from the solution and evaporate into the air, creating the potential harm through inhalation.
