  • Water Density: Understanding H2O's Mass per Volume
The density of water (H2O) at room temperature (25°C) is approximately 997 kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m³). This means that for every cubic meter of water, it has a mass of 997 kilograms. The density of water is slightly higher than that of most other liquids, which is why it sinks to the bottom when mixed with other liquids that are less dense.
