  • Condensation: Understanding the Gas to Liquid Phase Change
The change in state from gas to liquid is called condensation. Condensation occurs when a gas cools down and its molecules slow down and move closer together. This causes the gas to become more dense and eventually turn into a liquid. Condensation is the opposite of evaporation, which is the change in state from liquid to gas.
