Cleaning
1. Mix muriatic acid with water according to the package directions.
2. Pour the solution onto the shower floor and allow it to sit for a few minutes.
3. Use a scrub brush with stiff bristles to agitate the solution and loosen the dirt and grime.
4. Rinse the floor thoroughly with water to remove all traces of the acid solution.
Neutralization
5. Sprinkle baking soda onto the floor and let it sit for several minutes. This will help to neutralize any remaining acid.
6. Rinse the floor again with water to remove the baking soda.
Caution:
- Muriatic acid can damage the grout between the tiles, so be sure to rinse it thoroughly after cleaning.
- Test a small area before using muriatic acid on the entire floor to ensure that it does not damage the tiles or grout.
- Never mix muriatic acid with other cleaning products, as this can create dangerous fumes.
- If you have any respiratory problems, it is best to avoid using muriatic acid.
