    Cesium oxide (Cs2O) is a highly reactive, caustic compound that readily reacts with water to form cesium hydroxide (CsOH) and heat. The reaction is highly exothermic, releasing a significant amount of energy in the form of heat. As a result, cesium oxide is not soluble in water but instead reacts with it to form a different compound.
