The existence of supersolidity, a state of matter with simultaneous long-range order and superfluidity, is highly controversial. While there have been experiments suggesting the possible presence of supersolidity, the existence of the phenomenon is still not widely accepted. More experiments and theoretical studies are needed to conclusively determine whether supersolidity truly exists.
