    Optical interferometry is a technique that uses the interference of light waves to measure distances or surface shapes with high precision. It does not directly provide information about the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from lilies or any other source. VOC emissions are typically studied using analytical techniques such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry or proton-transfer-reaction mass spectrometry.
