  • Understanding Human Cells: Eukaryotic Cell Classification
Human cells are classified as eukaryotic cells.

    Here's why:

    * Eukaryotic cells have a true nucleus, which contains their genetic material (DNA). This nucleus is enclosed by a membrane.

    * Prokaryotic cells, on the other hand, lack a nucleus and their DNA is located in a region called the nucleoid, which is not enclosed by a membrane.

Since human cells have a well-defined nucleus, they are considered eukaryotic.
