  • Multicellularity in Humans: Understanding Cell Complexity
There are no living things composed of only one cell within the human body.

While we are made up of trillions of cells, each cell is part of a larger, complex organism.

    Here's why:

    * Multicellularity: Humans are multicellular organisms, meaning we are composed of many cells working together.

    * Specialized Cells: Different cells in the body have specific functions (muscle cells, nerve cells, etc.). They depend on each other for survival.

    * Organ Systems: Cells form tissues, tissues form organs, and organs work together as systems.

However, there are single-celled organisms (microorganisms) that can live within the human body, such as bacteria and some types of fungi. These are not part of the human body itself.
