  • Golgi Apparatus: The Cell's Secretion & Export Center
The part of the cell that carries secretions for export is the Golgi apparatus.

    Here's why:

    * Packaging and Processing: The Golgi apparatus acts like a cellular post office. It receives proteins and lipids (fats) synthesized in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). These substances are then modified, sorted, and packaged into vesicles (tiny sacs) for transport.

    * Secretion: These vesicles containing the packaged secretions are then transported to the cell membrane. The vesicles fuse with the membrane, releasing their contents outside the cell.

Think of it like this: The Golgi apparatus is the packaging and shipping department of the cell, sending out its "products" for the rest of the body to use.
