  • ADH Production: Where is Antidiuretic Hormone Secreted?
The gland that secretes ADH (Antidiuretic Hormone) is the posterior pituitary gland.

While the posterior pituitary releases ADH, it's actually produced in the hypothalamus, a region of the brain. The hypothalamus then transports ADH to the posterior pituitary for storage and eventual release into the bloodstream.
