    If a cell lacks the enzyme DNA polymerase, it faces a severe crisis that would ultimately lead to its death. Here's why:

    * DNA Replication is Impossible: DNA polymerase is the enzyme responsible for copying DNA during cell division. Without it, the cell cannot create a complete copy of its genome for the new daughter cell.
