  • Flagella: Which Cells Possess These Essential Structures?
Many different types of cells have flagella! Here are some examples:

    * Sperm cells: The most well-known flagellated cells are sperm cells. The flagellum propels the sperm toward the egg.

    * Bacteria: Many bacteria have flagella, which help them move around in their environment.

    * Protists: Some single-celled organisms like Euglena use flagella for movement.

It's important to note that not all cells of a given type have flagella. For example, while most sperm cells have flagella, some types of sperm do not.
