  • Specialized Animal and Plant Cells: Types & Functions
Here are two specialized animal cells and one plant cell:

    Animal Cells:

    * Nerve Cell (Neuron): These cells are responsible for transmitting electrical signals throughout the body, enabling communication between different parts of the organism.

    * Muscle Cell: These cells are specialized for contraction, allowing movement and generating force.

    Plant Cell:

    * Guard Cell: These cells are found in pairs on the surface of leaves and are responsible for regulating the opening and closing of stomata, which are tiny pores that allow gas exchange and water vapor to pass in and out of the plant.
