  • Prokaryotic Cells: Structures Not Found - Nucleus & Organelles
The two structures that would not be found in a prokaryotic cell are:

    1. Nucleus: Prokaryotes lack a true nucleus. Their DNA is located in a region called the nucleoid, but it's not enclosed within a membrane.

    2. Membrane-bound organelles: Prokaryotes do not have membrane-bound organelles like mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum, etc. They have ribosomes, but these are not enclosed in a membrane.
