  • The Ultimate Omnivore: Which Organism Eats Everything?
There is no organism that eats absolutely *all* things. Every organism has a specific diet and limitations.

However, there are some organisms that have incredibly diverse diets and can eat a wide range of things:

    * Decomposers: Organisms like bacteria and fungi break down dead plants and animals, playing a crucial role in recycling nutrients in ecosystems. They can "eat" a wide variety of organic matter.

    * Omnivores: Animals like humans, pigs, and rats can eat both plants and animals. This gives them access to a large variety of food sources.

    * Generalist Predators: Some predators like raccoons, opossums, and crows are not picky eaters and will consume a variety of animal prey, as well as some plant matter.

It's important to remember that even these organisms have limits to what they can eat. Their digestive systems are adapted to specific food types and they may be unable to digest certain materials or may be vulnerable to toxins in certain foods.

So, while there's no single "all-eating" organism, the concept of a "food web" highlights how interconnected different organisms are through their feeding relationships, making ecosystems complex and fascinating.
