  • Tissue vs. Organ: Understanding the Difference
There's no such thing as a "tissue organ". It's a bit of a mix-up of terminology!

    Here's why:

    * Tissue: A group of similar cells that work together to perform a specific function. Examples include muscle tissue, nervous tissue, and connective tissue.

    * Organ: A structure made up of different tissues that work together to perform a complex function. Examples include the heart, lungs, stomach, and brain.

So, an organ is made up of different types of tissues, not the other way around.

It's like saying "a brick building" - a building is made up of bricks, not the other way around!
