    If all the mitochondria in a cell were destroyed, the cell would face dire consequences and likely die. Here's why:

    * ATP Production Halt: Mitochondria are the powerhouses of the cell, responsible for producing ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the cell's primary energy currency. Without mitochondria, the cell would lose its ability to generate ATP, leading to a rapid depletion of energy reserves.
