  • Plant-Specific Cell Organelles: Unique Structures in Plant Cells
Here are the cell organelles found in plants but not in humans:

    * Chloroplasts: These are the sites of photosynthesis, where plants convert light energy into chemical energy. They contain chlorophyll, the pigment that gives plants their green color.

    * Cell Wall: This rigid outer layer provides structural support and protection to the plant cell. It's primarily composed of cellulose.

    * Vacuoles: Plant cells have large central vacuoles that store water, nutrients, and waste products. They also help regulate turgor pressure, which keeps the plant rigid.

While humans and plants share some organelles, like the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, and ribosomes, these three are unique to plant cells and contribute to their ability to perform photosynthesis and maintain their structure.
