* tRNA has a specific anticodon sequence that matches a codon on the messenger RNA (mRNA).
* Each tRNA molecule is attached to a specific amino acid. This attachment is done by enzymes called aminoacyl tRNA synthetases.
* During translation, the tRNA molecule binds to the mRNA codon using its anticodon, delivering the correct amino acid to the ribosome.
* The ribosome then adds the amino acid to the growing polypeptide chain, which eventually becomes a protein.
So, tRNA acts like a molecular delivery truck, transporting amino acids to the ribosome where they are assembled into proteins.
