  • Lysosomes: Found in Animal Cells, Not Plants - Explanation
Lysosomes are found in animal cells, not plant cells.

    Here's why:

    * Lysosomes are responsible for breaking down waste products and cellular debris. Plant cells have a different system for this, relying on a specialized organelle called the vacuole which can also function in storage and support.

    * Lysosomes contain powerful enzymes that can digest various molecules. While plant cells do have enzymes, they are not concentrated in a single organelle like the lysosome.

While plant cells don't have lysosomes, they have other structures that perform similar functions.
