  • Transcription: Understanding the Final mRNA Product
The final product of transcription is messenger RNA (mRNA).

    Here's why:

    * Transcription is the process of copying a gene's DNA sequence into a messenger RNA (mRNA) molecule.

    * This mRNA molecule then travels out of the nucleus to the ribosomes, where it serves as a template for protein synthesis.

While other types of RNA are involved in protein synthesis (like tRNA and rRNA), mRNA is the direct result of transcription.
