  • Photosynthesis: A Guide to Plants & Chlorophyll
    All green plants are involved in photosynthesis. This includes:

    * Trees: Oak, maple, pine, etc.

    * Flowers: Roses, sunflowers, daisies, etc.

    * Grasses: Wheat, rice, corn, etc.

    * Algae: Seaweed, phytoplankton, etc.

    * Mosses: Sphagnum, liverworts, etc.

    * Ferns: Bracken, lady fern, etc.

    These plants contain chlorophyll, a green pigment that absorbs sunlight energy necessary for photosynthesis.

    It's important to note that not all plants are green. There are some plants that lack chlorophyll and obtain their energy through parasitism or other means. These plants do not perform photosynthesis.
