    Prokaryotic cells are not found in animal or plant cells.

    Here's why:

    * Animals and plants are multicellular organisms made up of eukaryotic cells. Eukaryotic cells have a nucleus, mitochondria, and other organelles.

    Therefore, prokaryotic cells and eukaryotic cells are distinct and separate types of cells.
