    4. Growth and Development: Living organisms grow and develop over their lifespan, following a specific pattern determined by their genetic makeup.

    5. Response to Stimuli: All living things respond to changes in their environment. These responses can range from simple movement away from light to complex behavioral adaptations.

    6. Reproduction: Living organisms have the ability to reproduce, creating new individuals that carry on their genetic lineage.

    7. Homeostasis: All living organisms maintain a stable internal environment, even when external conditions change. This is known as homeostasis.
